Concrete sensors and installation
What does the SHM360-Node measure?
The SHM360-Node records concrete temperature at three measurement points inside the pour, plus ambient air temperature. It sends the readings over LTE to the SHM360 dashboard, which also converts the temperature history into in-place strength using the maturity method (ASTM C1074).How do I install SHM360 sensors in a pour?
Tie the SHM360-Probe to the rebar inside the formwork at the depth you want to monitor, run its cable out of the pour and plug it into the SHM360-Node, then pour as normal. No tools or wiring required — each probe takes under two minutes to install. How deep can the temperature probe be embedded in concrete?
The probe cable is available in standard lengths up to 30 m, so it can measure core temperatures in mass concrete pours, foundations, thick slabs, and piles. Multiprobe 100 m cables for bored pile monitoring are available on request. Is the SHM360-Probe reusable or single-use?
The probe cable is sacrificial (stays in the concrete), but the node transmitter is reusable for many pours — the cables simply unplug and a new one is fitted for the next pour. How long does an SHM360-Node battery last?
Typically up to 6 months on a standard site with 15-minute sampling. Cold weather and a weak cellular signal reduce that.Does it work in cold weather and hot weather pours?
Yes. The node is rated IP68 and operates from −40 °C to +85 °C, suitable for hot-weather and cold-weather concreting.
Temperature, strength and maturity
Can I use the SHM360-Node for mass concrete temperature differential monitoring?
Yes, it is a primary use case. Place one probe at the core of the pour and one near the nearest surface, and record ambient air as well; the dashboard shows the core-to-surface difference (ΔT) in real time. When the contract documents give no other values, ACI 301 limits the peak concrete temperature to 70 °C and the differential to 19 °C. Our guide to mass concrete temperature differential explains the limits and sensor placement. What is the concrete maturity method?
The maturity method (ASTM C1074) estimates in-place concrete strength from the concrete's temperature history. A one-time lab calibration links maturity (temperature over time) to strength for a given mix. After that, the embedded sensor's temperature record gives the strength of the concrete in the structure at any moment. Read more in our maturity method guide. How accurate are SHM360 strength estimates compared to cylinder break tests?
Once the mix has been calibrated, strength estimates are typically within ±5–10% of lab-cured cylinders, and often more representative of the actual in-place concrete since the sensor measures the real curing temperature in the structure — not a lab-cured sample.Do I need to calibrate the probes before each pour?
No. Temperature probes are factory-calibrated for life. Strength uses ASTM C1074 maturity, which needs a one-time calibration per mix design — reused for every pour after that.
Dashboard and data
What happens if the LTE signal drops?
Nothing is lost. Readings are stored on the node and uploaded automatically with their original timestamps once signal returns. Local memory holds several weeks of data. Can I export data for my own reports?
Yes — PDF and CSV exports from the dashboard, plus a REST API for direct integration with your own systems. Can I monitor multiple pours and share access with my team?
Yes. The dashboard supports unlimited projects, unlimited users, so general contractors, QC engineers, ready-mix suppliers, and inspectors can all view the same live data.Is my project data secure?
All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. It is hosted in the cloud by default, with on-premises data residency available on request.
Pricing, ordering and delivery
How much does SHM360 concrete monitoring cost?
The Pour Package costs AED 890 per pour and includes a 14-day SHM360-Node rental and three 5 m SHM360-Probes. The Monthly Package costs AED 1,490 per month and keeps one Node on site for 30 days, with six 5 m probes for two pours or one long pour. Additional probes cost AED 230 each. Enterprise pricing is tailored to the deployment. Plans are offered in the UAE and Saudi Arabia; see Pricing. How do I get a quote for anchors and strengthening products?
On the Concrete Strengthening Products page, anchor resins show an indicative price in AED, excluding 5% VAT. Enter a quantity for each product and select Get quote on WhatsApp: the message lists the items, quantities and total. Our sales team then confirms price, availability and delivery. For products marked price on request, select Request a Quote to use the contact form.Do you deliver across the GCC and abroad?
Yes. SHM360 delivers across the GCC and to other countries. Delivery takes at least 1–3 days, depending on whether the items are in stock; our sales team confirms the delivery time with your quote. What warranty and return policy apply?
SHM360-Node hardware is covered by a 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects (6 months for evaluation units). Probes are consumables: their warranty ends once they are embedded in concrete, and they cannot be returned. Anchoring and strengthening products are covered by the manufacturer's warranty; because these materials have a shelf life, they are not returnable once delivered unless a warranty defect is confirmed. Returns need an RMA number from SHM360. Full details are in our Terms of Service.
Anchoring and strengthening products
Which SHM360 anchor resins have a European Technical Assessment (ETA)?
Both injection mortars do. AIT-VMK-RE (epoxy) holds ETA-26/0126 for bonded anchors (EAD 330499) and ETA-26/0127 for post-installed rebar (EAD 330087). AIT-VMK-SF (vinyl ester) holds ETA-26/0123 for bonded anchors and ETA-26/0114 for post-installed rebar. Anchors are designed to EN 1992-4 and post-installed rebar to EN 1992-1-1, using the values in each ETA.Are AIT-VMK-RE and AIT-VMK-SF assessed for fire and seismic loads?
Yes, within the limits of each ETA. AIT-VMK-RE is assessed for seismic categories C1 (rebar Ø10–32) and C2 (threaded rods M12–M24) as an anchor, and for fire resistance as post-installed rebar only. AIT-VMK-SF is assessed for C1 (M12–M20) and C2 (M12 and M16) as an anchor, and for fire resistance as both anchor and rebar. Neither ETA covers fatigue loading. Check the ETA annexes for the exact diameters and conditions. What is the difference between AIT-VMK-RE and AIT-VMK-SF?
AIT-VMK-RE is an epoxy mortar for heavy-duty anchoring and post-installed rebar up to Ø40 mm, suited to wet holes, deep embedments and large diameters. AIT-VMK-SF is a fast-curing, styrene-free vinyl ester for everyday anchoring and rebar up to Ø32 mm that cures quickly even at low temperatures. Our epoxy vs vinyl ester guide compares the two resin families.Where can I download product datasheets?
Open a product group on the Concrete Strengthening Products page and select Datasheet; one datasheet covers all products in the group. Sensor datasheets, product catalogues and certificates are on the Technical Documents page. Downloads ask for your email address first.
